Make music with Touch Instruments

Use Touch Instruments to play keyboards, drums, guitars, strings, and more. Record your own vocals or plug in your guitar or bass, and play through a great selection of amps and stompbox effects.

Build your song

Choose from hundreds of Apple Loops to add to your song, add a drummer that plays along to the music you recorded, and mix your song with effect plug-ins.

Step 1: A ‘Smart’ Beat GarageBand on the iPad is capable of producing eight simultaneous tracks of audio (or instruments). These eight tracks can be made up of various sound sources, you can record your own audio via the microphone or audio input, you can use built in Apple loops or your own samples and you can also use any of GarageBand’s excellent built in instruments. Your music deserves to be heard — everywhere. With GarageBand, you can easily share your tracks via email or directly to Facebook, YouTube, and SoundCloud. 3 You can even wirelessly share with someone near you using AirDrop. Or save them as custom ringtones so whenever somebody calls, your song rocks. Make and record music in your iPhone with GarageBand. GarageBand is Apple's all in one and versatile app that allows you to bring anywhere a recording studio for you to create music with. This app features a wide variety of touch enabled musical instruments, various amps, various stompbox kits, music sharing on Facebook, YouTube and SoundCloud, export to iTunes and more.
