Subject:Why won't Studio One play?

Unfortunately, instead I'm freaking out because this thing needs to be done in two days, and Studio One won't record. I tried to play what I have so far, and it won't play. The 'line' does not move, nothing happens when I press the button. If I try to record, the same thing happens - line won't move, nothing records. This was working fine a couple days ago. Did I accidentally click something? How do I get this thing to play and record? Help!

After 'resetting the driver' of the interface, Studio One was able to play back my song again. So that might be something to try. (I have an tc Impact Twin and I switched the safety mode in its settings). It's also a good idea to tell the people here a bit more about your setup so it's easier to help: Operation System, Studio One version, Audio Interface and so on.

Check that the buffer on your Audio interface and S1 are the same, with a HD Native system if they are different it will do exactly as you describe.

I did figure out what the problem was awhile after posting - apparently, it doesn't like when I switch USB ports. The audiobox only likes to use one in particular. So once I made the switch, it seemed to work fine, and I got my recording done. Now I feel stupid, but relieved!

You have to use the port it was installed on.

Studio One 4 Won' T Recorded

I’ve kept all the other nobs at 12:00. Studio One still won’t record audio or play back audio. I’ve closed whatever song I’m currently working on and opened a new song to see if this makes a difference. No difference: I’m unable to record audio on any track in any file. I’ve rebooted my computer several times.
Jan 24, 2015 I am new to this forum and to Studio One Pro which I just got few days ago. In the last few days, I learned all the basics, and it is really easy.I really love Studio One Pro. I am just facing problem with instruments tracks. During recording, I am able to play the instruments, but nothing is recorded!! Any idea what is going on?
